Looks photoshopped? Only in that I shoot RAW files so I have to edit. Only usual things. Contrast, levels, saturation, white balance, sharpening, warm up filter. Nothing I wouldn't have done with film. If you shoot jogs your camera does all these things for you.
No probs. I just wouldn't like anyone to think I do lots of editing. People usually tell me I should do more so it was interesting to get your comment. I'm glad you like the view as it was a four hour climb.
Yeah. I agree. I started with jpgs back in about 2004 for a couple of years but couldn't deal with the strange and unexpected colour casts you sometimes got so I switched to RAW. I use Nikon cameras which tend to expose qiute aggressively to the right of the histogram so most RAW files do need some work. They do this to retain shadow detail and it does work well 99.9% of the time so I'm pretty pleased with what I get to work with. Thanks for commenting by the way. I do like comments and am always happy to chat.
well the entry level DSLRs from Canon and Nikon are now fantastic cameras and excellent value. You don't need to go too far up their range to get something really good. Better off spending the money on lenses.
