The voice of the earth by LordLJCornellPhotos The voice of the earth by LordLJCornellPhotos
On the way back from Elgol overlooking Loch Slapin on the Isle Of Skye. The two hills might be Beinn Dearg Bheag and Beinn Dearg Mhor.

Such light and a calm scene in contrast to that stormy sky. Another great shot!

Scots Gaelic indeed and right hills. Translates to the little red and big red hill respectively. And you captured a little of the red colour.

Thanks for that. I knew you'd put me right if I was wrong. I must say the colours look a little muted on dA. My file is a bit more colourful than what I'm looking at here.

Thanks Franzi. What a lovely thing to say. I'll let you know when I am happy with my landscape work. I'm not there yet.
The names are indeed Scottish as my friend has kindly confirmed. Scottish Gaelic.
Just so you know I enjoy your work very much too

Scotland is wonderful for visiting. The highlands are beautiful. Edinburgh is my favourite city.
It is just so lovely and the people are lovely too. It does rain quite a lot though so you don't expect a lot of sun. Sometimes the weather is lovely though and then it is amazing. One day you must have a look for yourself :eager:

Aaaand the border collies are wonderful, too. One of my favourite dog breeds, but that's not surprising: I'm the biggest fan of England, Irland and Scotland :la: I especially love the british people and their humor ( :giggle: ) and the cold and rainy weather
I'll visit it, I promise! And maybe I'll live there sometime

You are always totally welcome. It is certainly cold at the moment. I'm very happy that you are such a big fan of the UK.
Border collies are very intelligent dogs. Very clever and very loyal. :icondogplz: (I know that's not a collie):saddummy:
