This is Castle Stalker which is a four-story tower house or keep picturesquely set on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe. It is in Appin in Argyll in Scotland and is about 25 miles North of Oban.

its a great location
well it is not too far from the port of Oban . Although it might not be a major shipping lane there is some water traffic
I look at it, and I keep thinking of the Doctor Who episode "The Horror of Fang Rock" from the 1970s. Just the type of place the TARDIS might land.
Is it inhabited today?
well it is privately owned but I don't think they live there.
you can go on a tour though
