On the edge of the Quiraing in the north east of the Isle Of Skye. The Quiraing is a landslip on the eastern face of Meall na Suiramach, the northernmost summit of the Trotternish on the Isle of Skye.
Oh, the LIGHT...
Stunning landscape. Such an interesting road to drive on. I would like to visit this place one day. Thank you for sharing it.
My feet ache for that road. For my hiking boots, and just that light… that sea breeze, and the crunch of gravel, the hollow song of seabirds and wind in the absence of human sounds. I WANT THIS.
Incredibly breath taking view and so peaceful place..!
Many thanks dear Maryellen
You're very welcome Lawrence. You ok? Seems you've been away a bit, I don't know...feels like it.
Yes. It's the end of the financial year so I'm working seven days a week at the moment. It'll all return to normal by the end of April. It's the same every year.
Oh, you sound like my husband. He's an accountant. Been working like a madman since January. Almost over now...here it's mid-April that tax day is due. I used to do it too, . Same job. Glad you are feeling ok, though.
Been there many times, an almost prehistoric landscape
Wonderful landscape, great shot.
Divine photo! Love this place
Uber moss covered landscape.
What a great view, and the road looks like it would be a great drive too.
It's a narrow road in most part with passing places where cars can pass each other. The drive up to the top is steep, narrow and bendy
Incredibly beautiful photo!
Oh my..so pretty.
The beauty and balmy country side which I love so much of your pics...
Thank you dear Carol I am very lucky to get to visit these places
Awww.. Such a magestic view! Love it. Is that a village beneath?
Fantastic view and photo, great shot dear Lawrence
Monumental Location .... Beautiful Photography !!!
I can hear the Skye Boat Song piped somewhere from a hill in the distance...
