The ruins of Cill Chriosd, or Christ's Church, lie by the roadside on the road to Elgol on the Isle Of Skye. There may be some explanation for the nearby deserted village and this church in the link below.

The tombstones are markers, but it's still sad to see the disregard for the dead.
The church was built in the16th century and it was used until 1840 when it closed because the local village also closed due to lack of work. Everybody moved to the nearby town of Broadford so I think everyone was ok.
