This is a picture from Wistman's Wood on Dartmoor in South West England. It is a protected area as it is a very ancient woodland with stunted oaks covered with lichens and mosses. It feels like the branches are reaching out to grab you. Needless to say it is a source of many myths and legends......and pixies live here.
