This is a Leica I picked up recently. It requires some work 
But I like it. From the serial number on the top I have found it is a Leica III from 1937.
It seems when they brought out a new model you were able to take your camera in and they would update it for you. This means there are a lot of old Leicas out there that might not look right.
I have no idea about Leicas but I got the information from the Leica Production Book.
