Stykkishólmur church (aka Stykkishólmskirkja) in Stykkishólmur, Snæfellsnes peninsula, Iceland. This is a modern church made from white concrete and was consecrated in 1980. It seats 300 people and is also used for concerts.
As churches go I think it is a thing of beauty. And Stykkishólmur is not a big town. It has a population of just over 1,000 and is all about fishing and tourism. It is a beautiful fishing town with many buildings being good examples of traditional architecture of the area. I spent much more time there than I expected too.
