The home of the 9th Earl of Erroll.

From my trip to the east coast of Scotland last August this is Slains Castle in Aberdeenshire. It is also know as New Slains Castle as there is an Old Slains Castle not far from here. The castle was built in the 16th century but was still being added to and changed in the 19th century. Interestingly the roof was removed in 1925 to avoid taxes. This is why it is now a ruin.
