Tread gently along my passageway

An interior shot inside Belsay Hall in Northumberland. This country house was left to be shown unfurnished as it is designed to strict mathematical proportions and is best appreciated whilst empty. It is a 19thC country mansion. It was built between 1810 and 1817 by Charles Monck who also designed it. The house measures 100 feet square (I believe).  The quarry gardens are beautiful and there is a 14th century castle in the grounds.
